Last weekend, I played chamber music again for the first time in 18 years. This is a trio of me, Laurel and Fabian. I’m on the second violin, and I recorded this on the iPhone.

I’m playing violin and singing tonight at the Maiden, a casual Spanish-inspired nightspot on the inner East side of Portland, with the 12th Avenue Hot Club. Always a fun time when the swing dancers show up!

    Happy Mardi Gras!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the big debut show of the new band at Ash St. Saloon last week. We had a great time rehearsing and getting ready for the show, and feel like it went off pretty well!

Special thanks to Tracy Kim and the Ash St. Saloon for booking us, and to The Janglies for playing before us and The Dunbar Number for headlining the show. We’ll post some videos of the show pretty soon. Take care!
